Vergleichende Forschung zur Berufsbildung in Skandinavien
Die vergleichende Forschung dient neben dem internationalen Austausch mit Berufsbildungsforschenden in anderen Ländern der Erweiterung des eigenen Denk-Horizonts und der Anregung von neuen Gestaltungsideen für die Berufsbildung im eigenen Land. Mit diesem Forschungsschwerpunkt, der sich insbesondere der Ausbildung von Berufsschullehrkräften in den unterschiedlichen Ländern widmet, sind kontinuierlich verschiedene Aktivitäten verbunden, wobei sicherlich die bedeutsamsten die zweimaligen mehrmonatigen Forschungsaufenthalte von Prof. Dr. Franz Kaiser in Finnland, Schweden (2018-19) sowie in Island und Norwegen (2023) waren. Die Einladung zur Keynote 2025 bei der Jahrestagung der skandinavischen Berufsbildungsforschenden in Aarhus, Dänemark kann hierbei als Auszeichnung und Ausdruck des Interesses der dortigen Forschungscommunity an der bisherigen Forschung am Lehrstuhl für Berufspädagogik verstanden werden.
Aus diesem Forschungsschwerpunkt entstehen fortlaufend Publikationen und Vorträge sowie die Integration der Forschung in die Lehre, insbesondere in den Seminaren zur international vergleichenden Berufsbildung. Auch das Projekt VETteach von 2020-2022 entstand in diesem Zusammenhang.
