Founding Director Prof. Dr. Franz Kaiser presented his ideas of a human-oriented vocational training, which in a democratic society is an essential prerequisite for the fact that in addition to the development of professional competence, social participation as well as social commitment are made possible. Against this backdrop, he outlined the concepts of vocational education, which are being pursued within the framework of vocational training courses at the University of Rostock.

The celebration was framed by a poster exhibition presenting the situation of vocational education in M-V as well as the Institute for Vocational Education. Furthermore, a film was premiered which was created as part of a vocational seminar under the direction of students and which examines crucial issues of the being as a vocational school teacher.

We would like to thank all our guests for the participation and the many good wishes and look forward to a fruitful cooperation!
