Due to a research semester from 1.10.2018 to 28.2. 2019 Prof. Dr. Kaiser will be in Finland. The contact person for the institute during this time is Prof. Dr. Mathias Götzl.

Professional Background

• Since 10/2014: professor for vocational education at the Faculty of Humanities at University of Rostock

• 2000 to 2014: research assistant and project leader at the ‘Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training’ in the departments ‘Teaching and Learning’; ‘International affairs and knowledge transfer’ and ‘Order and structure of vocational training’

• 2007: doctorate to PhD at the Faculty of Humanities at the Technical University of Darmstadt with Prof. Dr. Josef Rützel and Prof. Dr. Karlheinz A. Geissler (Munich)

• 1998 to 2000: research assistant at the Institute for Vocational Education and Professional Development  at Erfurt University of Education

• 1994 to 2012: avocational lecturer and visiting lecturer at the Universities of Darmstadt, Erfurt, Jena and lecturer at institutions of vocational and adult education

• 1993 to 1997: research assistant at the Institute for Vocational Education at the Technical University Darmstadt

• 1991 to 1993: tutor at the Institute for Vocational Education at the Technical University Darmstadt 

• 1987 to 1990: tutor at the Institute for General Pedagogy at the Technical University Darmstadt

• 1985 to 1993: teacher training for vocational schools for the construction industry, Catholic theological studies, Master’s degree in vocational education at the Technical University Darmstadt
