Special Issue to the 2nd Crossing Boundaries in VET-Conference published

In follow-up to the international conference “Crossing Boundaries in Vocational Education and Training: Social Dimension and Participation“ a special issue at the International Journal for Research in Vocational Education and Training (IJRVET) was published by the editors Prof. Dr. Franz Kaiser and Susann Krugmann.

The conference took place in August of 2017. The focus of the conference was the promotion of participation and social justice. To give the meeting an appropriate contextual framework representatives of different research fields were invited as keynotes which concentrate on conceptual ideas and structural approaches that help to cross borders of the democratic society with well qualified and self-confident employees as well as the sustainable development.

The present special issue to the Crossing Boundaries-meeting includes the thematic focuses of its held presentations and makes the social and participative dimensions come to the fore of vocational education. As keynotes we could win Sabine Pfeifer, Markus Neuenschwander and James Avis.

The special issue is available here.
